Giving a pre-loved jacket a new lease of life
Sometimes old suit jackets can sit in a wardrobe for decades, never being worn. In this case, I transformed a pre-loved suit jacket into a dapper waistcoat with matching cap.
These transformations have been particularly popular with more people wearing caps in recent years, with the rise of the BBC series, Peaky Blinders. This repurposing of pre-loved suit jackets can also be a lovely way to pass an previously loved garment through the generations in a more contemporary way.
