Adrienne provides a bespoke wedding dress design service in Ware, Hertfordshire, just a short drive from London’s M25.
Adrienne’s brides come to see her for various reasons but predominately they just can’t find what they are looking for. Sometimes they have an idea and this could be inspired by their wedding theme, an old movie, a portrait, a red carpet dress, a vintage couture dress etc. This is heaven for Adrienne, she has a big archive of great books, like the history of fashion, art and we also have a large fabric library that includes beads and lace for brides to see. So the journey can start there.
Adrienne takes inspiration from the great couturiers of the past and present such as Valentino, Dior, Mainbocher, Balenciaga etc. Contact Adrienne if you would like a personalised service, and a truly unique wedding dress (classic, romantic, vintage-inspired, contemporary or Asian-style) made perfectly for you.
“I fully understand that having a bespoke wedding dress or outfit made can be a daunting experience and this is where my years of experience come into their own. It is my aim to make you feel at ease throughout every stage of the process and ensure that your dream wedding dress becomes a reality.” “Through regular meetings I will work with you, and based on your requirements, will make recommendations as to the overall design, dress details and fabric choices. I provide sketches and swatches, take photos, measurements and make any necessary alterations during the 1st and 2nd fits in order to ensure that this part of your wedding is ‘perfect’.”
Emma looked high and low for her wedding dress but couldn’t find what she was looking for i.e.colour, print. The dress that she kept coming back to was her own evening dress by Coast, which she loved but wished she could have the style transformed into a wedding dress.
We took her Coast dress as an inspiration but brought a lot of other elements to it i.e. layering organza, prints, gold lace, creating a very lush dress and we exaggerated the style of the skirt in relation of the Cost dress, to turn it into a more couture, red carpet wedding dress.
