Charlotte bought a beautiful dress from Clifford Burr on the strength of changes and additions that could be made to compliment and work with the existing dress – one to customise and also to meet cultural and ceremonial requirements throughout her wedding day.
First we fitted and altered her dress, then we added a delicate back inlay. We then worked very hard to find lace motives to match the lace on her dress to create a little jacket. But piece de resistance was the soft romance skirt to be opened in the front, layering a mixture of ivory and champagne organzas and tulles to create the beautiful colour of the dress.
We had great fun working with Charlotte and her mum – happy bride!
