A fairy tale black wedding dress
Venessa was getting married on New-years eve and she wanted a black wedding dress. I’ve always wanted to make a black wedding dress so I leapt at the chance of bringing Venessa’s ideas to life.
All the wedding dresses Venessa looked at that were black were either too goth or cheap looking. She wanted a fairy tale-style wedding dress but simple and elegant at the same time. We really worked on the corsetry on the inside of the velvet bodice and made a fantastic black net petticoat for underneath her skirt.
I was very pleased with how it came out and so was Venessa. I think you’ll agree, the end result was beautifully dramatic!
